The C1 Carbon Flybox was created to meet the demands of the traveling angler who will fish with nothing but the best equipment that money can buy.
The carbon flybox begins life as organic polymers are formed into strands of of carbonized atoms. Through mechanical and chemical process, the strands are baked at between 3000-5000 degrees suspended in a non-oxygen-containing mixture of gas. The carbon strands are then woven into high modulus graphite cloth used to form the box.
Once the cloth is processed and formed into the outer shells of the carbon flybox, it is CNC machined for the highest degree of precision. The graphite composite structure has been optimized to increase stiffness and reduce weight. The boxes are then hand fitted with aerospace grade fasteners to bond the lightweight shell to a 100% stainless steel hinge. Neodymium magnets are fused into the composite shell resulting in a precise open and close effort. These elements combine to create the world's most revolutionary flybox.
The C1 box is 3.5" x 5.5" x 1.5".
